Accurist is kicking off its new Christmas TV campaign this month. Launching on 30th November until 23rd December the advert will appear alongside high budget Christmas commercials, reaching over 30 million adults.

Known for its classic ‘Accur-ankle, Accu-wrist’ advertising campaign fronted by John Cleese, which was voted one of the world’s top ten ads by US TV host Johnny Carson in the 70s, the new ad targets fashion conscious millennials who are looking to make a statement. The 30 second spot will appear between some of the biggest watched shows including the X Factor, I’m A Celebrity, Coronation Street and The Jonathan Ross Show. Featuring hero watches from its Signature and classic collection the advert celebrates individualism, quality and style.

Marian Davis, head of marketing for Accurist said: ‘We wanted to keep the brand relevant and relatable to our target audience and encourage people to express themselves with confidence. We’re thrilled to be back on TV, the campaign, which is supported by PR and social media, showcases the range perfectly.’ The ad takes its inspiration from West Side Story and was directed by renowned British choreographer, Kenrick Sandy, who is best known for his work on London’s 2012 Olympic Games Opening and 2014 Winter Paralympics closing ceremonies. Accurist has been at the forefront of unrivalled quality, true British craftsmanship and lasting value since 1946. With a rich history in producing exceptional watches for men and women for over 70 years, the brand harmoniously combines the skills of expert watchmaking with modern artistry for designs that stand the test of time and epitomise durability and value.
