The new Accurist Acctiv Sports Watches

Accurist has just launched the Acctiv collection – an exciting new range of watches with great sports styling. With RRPs from £60 to £125 this collection includes several key styles. From simple 3-hand analogues to chronographs with exclusive movements and silicon straps in bold colours, the Acctiv collection hits all the right notes for a sporty 2012. To spread the word, Acctiv by Accurist hits the TV screen in June with a snappy little advert that with air on ITV Granada during the Euro 2012 championship.

The clocks in the UK go back 1 hour to GMT this weekend, but hopefully not for the last time.

For a hundred years, the moment when the sun passes its highest point at London’s Greenwich has been noon Greenwich Mean Time. This is the standard used to set timepieces the world over.

Now, a proposal to move towards a standard set by Atomic Clocks at the International Telecommunications Union in Geneva threatens the role of Greenwich.

Given Accurist’s past historical association with Greenwich (we created the Millennium Countdown Clock), as well as our previous sponsorship of the talking clock, we’d like to encourage people to join the campaign to SAVE GMT!
