ACCURIST AT THE LONDON WATCH SHOW 2013

The 2013 London Watch Show was hosted and curated by the editorial team at WatchPro magazine and took place at the spectacular Freemasons’ Hall in Central London. The show is the first watch trade show for the UK and was held over 2 days on 2nd and 3rd July. The show brought together a showcase of the markets biggest and best selling watch brands in the UK along with watch journalists from consumer to trade press. The Freemasons’ Hall accommodates an exhibition over two floors where trade buyers were guided through watch collections from affordable luxury and fashion, to fine watches.

Accurist used the show as a platform to unveil its new brand identity for the first time and had a great reaction from the public and trade as well as the new collections for Christmas. Ranges included Gold, Vintage, Charmed, Sport and Ceramic. Innovative packaging was presented for the first time as well as new store watch display and campaign imagery.

We also be re-launching the Accurist website in line with the re-branding. CEO Jonathan Crocker talks to WatchPro during the London Watch Show saying ‘online cannot be ignored. Not just as a window to the brand but as an e-commerce site’. Crocker explains that the new website will be ‘consistent with the brand’s retail and exhibition presence’ and that ‘we want our new website to communicate our long, rich story’. Jonathan took the mic at the seminar and talked about the importance of British-made watches. He said he ‘would like to see and support more British watch manufacturing’.

To celebrate the achievements of the British watch industry, the team over at WatchPro hosted an exclusive party at the stunning ‘Altitude 360’ in Central London. The big reveal of 100 of the UK’s finest individuals who have been driving the industry forward.

A big congratulations to CEO Jonathan Crocker for achieving the Hot 100 ‘Brand Champion’! You can see more photos from the event here at WatchPro online. Follow us on Twitter @accuristwatches for behind the scenes photos!
